Hello!

My name is Katy and I would like to welcome you to big mommas knits!

​

First and foremost, I am a stay at home mum of five amazing children living in a beautiful part of rural Pembrokeshire enjoying family life.

​

Once all my little (and big) angels are all tucked up in bed at night I become... big momma!

​

I sit for hours creating all sorts of lovely vibrant, funky colourful knitwear. I genuinely believe if you add a splash of bright bold colour to anything in life that you can put a smile on someones face somewhere!

​

Pembrokeshire, I believe, is an incredibly creative place and I count myself very lucky to be able to live here and raise my children surrounded by so much natural beauty. I have always knitted - my mother taught me when I was a child and my grandmother introduced me to crochet. It's safe to say I was....hooked.

​

Through family and friends around me being very supportive, encouraging (and patient) I decided to set up and run my own business from home.....so I did!

​

My knitwear isn't traditional in any way which is what makes it different. It's bold, vibrant and funky and suits any age and gender!

​

I love seeing people wearing what I've made and I love that they say they feel happy wearing them which means big mommas mission to spread colour and a bit of love is done!
